 The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the MHRD and launched by Honorable Minister of Human Resource Development on 29th September 2015. SCOPE OF PHARM D                     I will explain the present scope of Pharm D in India, in government jobs as well as private sector. We will discuss some background and recent important developments.     INTRODUCTION   Pharm D or Doctor Of Pharmacy is a 6 year Pharmacy course which includes 5 years classroom learning and one year internship. PharmD post baccalaureate is 3 year course including the internship. Pharm D is essential for clinical pharmacist post in government hospitals.  Background  Pharm D course was introduced by PCI(Pharmacy Council of India) in 2008.
